after thoughts from my review
Yes I reviewed the 7.75
That being said although I like it. My next board will probably be an 8.0
I believe the 8.0 will resolve some of the dislikes I have with the 7.75; While keeping the advantages I find with it. I will give my feedback on which I find to work better for me in the future.
but for now I am just gonna chill.

7.75 review
Been enjoying my 7.75 lately.
Although, it can be kind of sketchy but that's the fun of it. Skateboarding becomes stale at times so creating a unique challenge while also bringing new advantages into the game as well.
Classic. . . the pros and the cons
The cons;
Sometimes my tail feels way too fucking small.
Drops can be sketchy too;
if you land funky the board will throw you in ways that an 8.25+ will never do.
The Pros;
I find the 7.75 to be more casual. I do not see myself as a "skateboarder" sure. I skate on a regular basis but I don't love to see skateboarding as an athletic ordeal. I enjoi the math aspect of it. sure I am not Rodney Mullen (although I would like to be) nor am I even very Technical with my skating. I just overall like to think more about what I have to do with my feet and shit than how much force I need to do a simple thing. maybe I'm just weak. . . (that's besides the point)
It deserves nostalgia points too. Nothing better than when cute sk8er boys rode around on skinny boards with tight pants and big shoes.
I also like to play around with freestyle skateboarding. The skinny boards make going into a rail stand and Caspers much more achievable on a consistent basis.
I also look sick as fuck on a 7.75

indie-folk and metal.. . oh and The Dallas Cowboys
Past couple weeks I've been listening to a lot of music.
I tend to take breaks from listening to music for a week or two here and there.
Lately I have been listening to a lot of The Dallas Cowboys. The album Ashley Asked Me is so fucking chill and relatable.
Besides that I've been getting into folk, tweemo, acoustic emo, indie-folk, etc. whatever the fuck you want to call it. You know what I am talking about.
Conor Oberst is a reoccurring name for me during this music exploration. Oberst played drums in the band Park Ave. and founded the band Bright Eyes. While I enjoy Park Ave. and listen to them quite a bit, I've had the 2005 released album I'm Wide Awake, It's Morning by Bright Eyes in my daily handful of albums I tend to listen too while driving to work or rehearsal.
Easily comparable to Neutral Milk Hotel and The Mountain Goats.
Both being bands playing important rolls in my childhood as I spent days on my dad's shoulders at folk festivals and hanging out in the woods picking up cool sticks. The album just hits that nostalgia for me. It's a familiar sound.
I've been branching out more and returning to the bands I hear in these childhood memories. I believe it is helping me become more well rounded.
Similar to watching documentaries and reading.
Also so I don't get bored of Metal.
On that note. I have been listening to the 2002 self-titled album by Nehemiah, inspired by Scandinavian metal bands, my favorite track is easily Promises Of A Peaceful End (M.D.K). Between the opening sample to the fast paced riffs. This song along with every other song on the album is one of my favorite collections of music from the genre.
These couple weeks have really taught me there aren't many
combinations better than indie-folk and metal.
